This photoshoot has a funny story XD well, maybe not funny, but quite interesting n_n
There was this con at my city... Geekfest, where I work as one of the Cosplay organizers. And Consplayers was there! I was so happy to meet PikminLink and Sai, they're so cool! And Li's family too <333 The first day I was cosplaying as a Shinigami from Bleach, but I couldn't get to the Consplayers stand on time, so I couldn't get pics with it u_u
The next day, I had this kodona costume (kodona is a japanese fashion, inspired on aristocrat children... mostly boys, of course) And I was just by the Consplayers' stand chatting with some friends... but suddenly Mr. Robert (you rock!!! <3333) came closer to me, took by bag away... and I was like "WTF are you doing with my bag D:" then he took the noteboook I had on the other hand... and grabbed me to the photo booth xD
Me: "but I'm not cosplaying! D:" Robert: "it doesn't matter, you look great"
and he took me 3 pictures but... i don't really like one of them, so I'll just post this and another one :3
You did look great. So I can see why Mr Robert thought you were in cosplay but maybe this costume would have looked better with plain socks or are the striped ones mandatory for your character?

'But I dont want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked. Oh, you cant help that said the Cat. Were all mad here. Im mad. Youre mad 'How do you know Im mad' said Alice. 'You must be, said the Cat. 'or you wouldnt have come here'
it's not a character, it's an outfit i put together for that day, just for looking different. "kodona" is a japanese fashion trend, if you seek for pictures you'll see the striped socks are very common XD those pants and random socks (according to the colors of the costume, of course) are required, but not precisely striped or with prints. it was a personal detail :3
It's nice that folks feel free to be more creative with their outfits. I'd love to be moree creative in mine although it goes mainly for use of colours like matching tshirts and socks and being more creative than most guys would dare yo be with their shoes. I just love the current fashion for long boots with dark coloured tights and tunic tops but only the gals seem to be wearing what is in fact a very practical winter fashion. Last time I wore a similar outfit folks asked if I was going riding. So silly. Anyhow I like your outfit, maybe I should visit Japan and wear what I like

You should be able to dress however you like without following trends or fashion.
People tend to call me "punk" or "goth" or "emo", but I just like elements from those trends, and I hate emo xD that's why i love japanese fashion... they mix everything without fear or being discriminated or labeled.
Inspired by your latest postings I looked up Kodona to see what you were talking about, and found this page, [link] It's interesting to see how many styles there are.
I know your feelings about the cute stuff so I won't comment on what my faves are but it was interesting to see how many variations there are on the lolita theme and also that girls can quite happly adopt the boys styles -Kodona whereas I would doubt that many of the boys would want to 'cross the line' in the other direction lol.

i like the lolita style too specially the punk and goth loli style xD but lolita clothes are expensive, and i don't have enough ability for making those wide skirts, that's why i'm not a loli
